Is this spray suitable for guinea pig ?

I am from india and i cant get specialised guinea pig products in my city. My guinea pig has got lice and i went to the pet store to get a lice spray for it. The shopkeeper gave a tick spray. When i checked the bottle it doesnt specify the animal whether it is for dog, cat or guinea pig. The instruction just says to spray it on the animal to remove fleas lice and ticks. Should i buy this spray ? Is it safe to use this spray to remove lice ? Will it harm my guinea pig ? The bottle has a pic of a dog on it so i am not sure for which animal it is meant for. The shopkeeper says it can be used on a guinea pig though he does not know wat a guinea pig is !
