Is anyone else having wacky weather around Australia?

I was thinking the exact same thing before. Melbourne's summer sucked this year, we're now almost half way through winter and there's virtually zero rain! (Wish it weren't so bloody freezing though) I don't think it has anything to do with la nina as that's what bought the rain through summer, so if that were still in effect it would be raining cats and dogs right about now, and since it's a 7? year pattern el nino couldn't be in effect this soon.. All I know for sure is if this keeps up the global warming bandwagon will get a move on and we wont be hearing the end of the 'told you so''s. Dratt.
